Introduction

Slavery and human trafficking remains a hidden blight on our global society. Risk Management

We identify and address potential risk areas across our operations and supply chain through the following measures:

  • Risk-based assessment: we map and evaluate risk across our operations and supply chain on an ongoing basis.
  • Right to work systems: all employees undergo robust right-to-work verification prior to engagement, including digital passport authentication and biometric site access controls where applicable. We assess right-to-work practices within our supply chain.
  • Communication: modern slavery and related policies are covered in site inductions and employee handbooks. Regular site stand-downs address associated topics including mental health, fatigue management and diversity.
  • Supply chain due diligence: suppliers are subject to checks regarding modern slavery practices as part of our tender evaluation process.
  • Supply chain engagement: we work actively with our suppliers to increase awareness and enforce ethical labour standards throughout the supply chain.

Education and Training

Senior management and supply chain personnel receive regular training on modern slavery and human trafficking risks. Training is reviewed annually and updated in line with changes to legislation and best practice guidance issued under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Key Performance Indicators

We measure the effectiveness of our approach through the following indicators:

  • Labour monitoring and payroll system compliance.
  • Right-to-work documentation verification rates.
  • Supply chain communication and compliance checks.
  • Staff training completion on Modern Slavery Act requirements.
